Jaime Andersen

Teachers - Kindergarten

Key Roles

My name is Jaime Andersen and I have the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten this year at Elnora School.  I am so excited to be part of such a positive, caring, academically and morally focused educational environment.  My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning, and to help each child develop confidence in his or her own ability. It is also my belief that a child’s success is based on a cooperative parent/teacher relationship.  I look forward to working with each and every one of my students, as well as their families.

I graduated from the University of Alberta/Red Deer College Collaborative Middle Years Education program in 2006.  I have experience teaching in Three Hills, Innisfail, the Huxley Hutterite Colony, and the Three Hills Hutterite Colony.   My husband and I, along with our 2 wonderful, active children, Chase who is 8 years old, and Chesney who is 4 years old, live on a ranch east of Trochu.  As a family we enjoy riding horses and checking our cattle, camping in the mountains, playing games, and getting to spend quality time together.  I also enjoy teaching riding lessons, quilting, snowboarding and most sports.

I look forward to this year and getting to work with and know so many more wonderful students and families in this amazing community.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at
